Those cruising out of Port Canaveral will soon be able to rely on another form of transportation, as Brightline announced that they're planning on opening a new station in Cocoa Beach. Last week, the Cocoa City Council voted to designate $5 million for the new station. Their VIP treatment began before embarking on the ship, as they were transported to the terminal in a limo. During the sailing, they went on different excursions, including a helicopter ride to the top of a glacier. Starting on March 15, 2024, Pinnacle Club members can invite one guest who doesn't enjoy the same level of loyalty status to accompany them into the Suite/Concierge Lounge, Suite Sun Decks, and Coastal Kitchen. The change applies to non-Pinnacle Club passengers staying in the same cabin as the Pinnacle Club member, provided they're not staying in an eligible Suite stateroom. With Royal Beach Club Cozumel, Royal Caribbean continues adding to its list of exclusive destinations. The cruise line recently opened Hideaway Beach, an adults-only venue in Perfect Day at CocoCay, Royal Caribbean's private island in the Bahamas. And Royal Beach Club in Paradise Island, a 17-acre site near Nassau, is scheduled to open in 2025.
On December 22, Oasis of the Seas will depart from Miami, Florida on a 7-night Western Caribbean cruise to Falmouth, Jamaica; Labadee, Haiti; Nassau, Bahamas; and Perfect Day at CocoCay. This special pop-up is in addition to the holiday décor found throughout the ship. Just like Icon, Star of the Seas, too, had coins left underneath the steel block of the ship's hull by the ship's customer and builder's representatives. When a ship's kneel is placed into the dry dock during construction, coins are placed beneath it as a symbol of good fortune.
